For You: Waterfront

I had the privilege to go to a card club with a friend of mine.  This was their last meeting with Chick because Chick is retiring!  We made a scene with the Waterfront stamp set; everyone had a slightly different scene using the same stamps.  What a fun stamp set.

Birthday: Cat for a Purrfect Day

The cat punch was heavily advertised for Halloween, but cats are year round for most people.  This CAS card used washi tape for the design and color.  Fun card.

Birthday: Tarnished Foil 4 You

Another tarnished foil card.  I used the same technique and materials, but the results are always different.

Tarnished Foil: Clocks and Gears

I used gold paper for the base and added black stazon and silver, gold, and copper embossing powder.  The steps I used are:

  • I covered a piece of white card stock with gold paper.
  • I lightly coated the gold paper with Staz On.
  • I stamped gears with Versa Mark  and embossed with gold embossing powder.
  • I lightly coated the gold paper with Staz On again.
  • I embossed with the gears embossing folder.
  • I lightly coated the gold paper with Staz On again.
  • I lightly coated with Versa Mark and embossed with copper embossing powder.
  • I lightly coated with Versa Mark and embossed with silver embossing powder.
  • I lightly coated with Staz On.

Birthday: Forest with Tarnished Foil

I saw this technique on SCS and just had to try it.  It takes quite a few steps, but it is quite easy.

  • I covered a piece of card stock with foil.
  • I lightly coated the foil with Staz On.
  • I stamped the bushes with Versa Mark and then embossed with gold embossing powder.
  • I lightly coated the foil with Staz On again.
  • I embossed with the Woodland embossing folder.
  • I lightly coated the foil with Staz On again.
  • I lightly coated the foil with Versa Mark and then embossed with silver embossing powder.
I think I will try using copper embossing powder next time for an additional layer.

Gift Card: Prettied Up with Wetlands

A prettied up gift card holder on the inside of the card.  The front is watercolored to create a scene.  The sentiment was stamped on the first attempt (haha) and put up on dimensionals.  The MEA-MFT card is not a gift card; it is my union card.  Wear it proud!

Thank You: Embossed Front

A friend is running for a state legislative seat and needed some thank you notes.  I wanted a clean and simple look.  I used Pistachio Pudding, Mossy Meadows, and white for the colors.  The stamp is from Lovely Amazing You for the inside of the card.

Sympathy: Thinking of You Silhouette Poppies

Another sympathy card.  I watercolored the background, die cut the opening and the poppies, and tucked the poppies into the frame.  Love the simple design.
