Birthday: Northern Lights Using Watercolor Powder

I am still loving the Brusho embossing powders for an explosion of color.  The trees are heat embossing with black embossing powder, which gives the trees a 3-D feel.

Baby: Tickled Pink with Pop-Up Gift Card Holder

A co-worker just had a baby; this card is for the gift card and the staff's blessings.  The background is embossing paste.  The bear was stamped and fussy cut very closely to the line.  Then another bear was die cut for the background on the bear.  The pop-up on the inside is a die from Lawn Fawn.  I love the pop-up gift card holder because the card doesn't get in the way of all the writing in the card.

All Occasion: Floral Watercolor with Gold Embossing

I used watercolor paper with sponges for a smooth transition of color.  The picture does not do justice; the center is quite yellow out to dark orange on the edges.  I embossed Flowering Flourishes with gold embossing powder before I started.  Then I sponged the color on.  After the paper was dry, I used the background stamp and added the strips and sponged flowers.  The strips were also stamped with a background stamp and lightly sponged.

Christmas: City Skyline

A watercolored night scene using Brusho watercolor powders.  The city is a Lawn Fawn die.  The bottom of the card also uses the Brusho powders, but I put some powder in water for a lighter effect.

Christmas: Pop-Up Gift Card Holder

Another gift card holder.  I used Lawn Fawn's Gift Card Pop-up for the inside of the card.  I decorated the front of the card, then adhered the pop-up along the fold of the card.  Another easy gift card holder.

Christmas: Prettied Up Gift Card Holder

I used Simon Says Stamps Prettied Up gift card holder die.  I love the style and how easy it is to use!  I decorated the front of the card and put the gift card holder on the inside.  Easy peasy!

Christmas: Watercolor Powder and Embossed Poinsettias

I have discovered watercolor powder!  Oh my goodness, I love the vibrant colors and the ease of use.

I used Versa Mark ink with the holly and poinsettias and embossed with silver embossing powder.  Then I sprinkled the watercolor powder onto the card and spritzed.  And the powder created this beautiful background.
